Boys/Girls State

The Legion and Legion Auxiliaries sponsor juniors from Rushford-Peterson High School to attend the annual Boys and Girls State. It is a week-long program in government and citizenship for young people. The objectives are to develop leadership and pride as American Citizens, educate citizens about our system of government, to instill a greater understanding of Americanism, and to stimulate a desire to maintain our democratic government processes. Girls State is held June 9th - 15th at Bethel University. Boys State is held June 9th - 15th at St. John's University. To apply, please click on the applications below.
