 WELCOME to the 2019-2020 School Year! Greetings! I hope you had a wonderful summer! My name is Kimberly King, and I will be your child’s English language teacher this year, focusing on reading, writing, speaking, and listening in English. I look forward to getting to know your child and your family! I grew up in here in Rushford. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls in 2007 with a degree in Elementary Education, and previously was an elementary teacher in Roseville, Rochester, and Chatfield. In 2014, I obtained my Master’s Degree in Literacy Education and K-12 Reading License through St. Mary’s University. This will be my 10th year teaching! I live in Rushford with my husband, Jackson, my son, Hayden (9 years), my daughter, Halle (6 years), my son, Oliver (3 yrs), my daughter, Millie (1 year) and my dog, Rudy. This past summer, I enjoyed spending time with family and friends. My family and I got to do a lot of activities together (library story time, park visits, swimming, and more!) We took a family trip with our camper to Michigan and had a wonderful time! As mentioned before, I am very excited for this year to begin. I look forward to working with you and your child to make this a meaningful, learning-filled year, full of challenges and fun experiences.
