CONTRACTED PSEO COURSES
Contracted PSEO courses are online courses that are available through Minnesota State College Southeast.  These courses are free to high school students. Students need to have a test score (Accuplacer, MCA 10th Grade Reading, or ACT) on record to meet eligibility and also need to apply to Southeast College.
 
General Eligibility is based on the following criteria:
  • Scoring a 78 or higher on the Reading portion of the Accuplacer (or ACT English 21+ and ACT Reading 18+, or MCA Reading 1047+)
or
  • Class Rank: Juniors need to rank in the top third of their class; Seniors need to rank in the top half of their class.
or
  • GPA: Juniors need a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher and Seniors need a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
 
 

 
Students earn dual credit.  Students will earn high school credit and college credits from MN State College Southeast.  4 college credits = 1 high school credit. These credits earned from SE  College are included on the Minnesota Transfer Curriculum.

**Online classes are not for every student.  Students need to also possess the following characteristics:
- be comfortable with technology
- have good time management skills
- possess initiative and self-motivation
